Dutchess is in a foster home and doing very well. She is a clean, well behaved girl and is improving on her leash manners daily. She is silly and sweet and will thrive in a home that consists of structure and love and preferably no cats.

A little about her history, five years ago, A.F.E.W. helped Dutchie find a home out of the shelter. She lived with a military family for four and a half years before they were relocated and were told they could not take her. She lost her two masters and two children she loved.

After being returned to A.F.E.W. she was boarded at a kennel again waiting for a foster home which she is now in and is very happy, but Dutchess is searching for her forever home.

Toby is currently a resident of a AFEW foster home. He is one very nice dog, good with everyone he meets be it human or canine - felines are okay too. He is a very happy guy, glad to see his handlers and loves going for rides in the car and walks. He would also enjoy a yard. Have a minute? come and meet him.

My name is Mittens and I am a beautiful one year old gray tiger female. I am very loving, but prefer to be your only child. I love to just hang out with my human friends and will give you plenty of love. One of my favorite things is to cuddle with you and be part of the family.

Mona is a short haired grey tabby with an incredibly soft coat. She loves people and enjoys being petted. She is 3-4 yrs old, still likes to play with her jingle bells and other toys. Mona loves to sleep in the sun light, to be brushed, and loved. All in all, Mona is a very dear cat and whomever adopts her will be blessed.

"Poogies" is a sweet, 9 year old, black and white tuxedo female cat in need of a new home. She is spayed, declawed, and due to her special dietary requirements, she needs to have space of her own. Poogies is also special in that she was bottle fed as an orphaned kitten at 2 days of age and then later adopted and returned a year later due to skin issues, which is controlled with they type of food she eats. Anyway... Poogies has been living in a cage now for a year and really deserves a break. Is there anyone who could take Poogies in who possibly has extra space in their home and heart and either foster or adopt her? If so, please contact AFEW and ask for Kim. Dexter has a wonderful personality, he is very good with other dogs and loves people. He is friendly and walks well on the leash. Dexter was found as a stray in the Hamilton area and is now residing in the Hamilton Animal Shelter. Dexter will be neutered prior to adoption.

We are 4 year old brothers who were left to fend for ourselves when our owners moved and dumped us outdoors. We want nothing more than to be loved all day long. We would like very much to stay together. Would you consider taking both of us?
