Jimmy
Jimmy is a brindle Staffi mix dog who is about three years old and has been homeless for over a year. Yet, this has not dampened his spirit. He loves everything about life when he is free to play and roam. He loves walking, running, riding in the car, getting a bath, playing with toys, exploring the yard, hiding his toys, just being a dog. Everything is a new adventure for Jimmy. The world to Jimmy is a playground that needs to be discovered, and he faces it with gusto hoping to enjoy every short moment that he has to be loved and pampered. Jimmy desperately needs someone to offer him a home and love. He will learn very quickly as he loves to please. If you tell Jimmy to sit, he patiently waits, and gently takes a treat from your hand. He is so anxious to prove that he is loveable that your heart will melt as you get to know Jimmy. Jimmy is good with children and adults.

Windsor
Windsor is a very intelligent boy. He is very good on a leash. He is active and needs daily exercise. Windsor is happiest curled up in a little ball next to his owner or on the couch. He gets along with other dogs but maybe best as the only dog or with people who have experience with multiple dogs. Windsor is crate trained and likes his fluffy bed in his crate. There is no doubt that Windsor will make a great addition to any family who has love to share with this very beautiful boy. |

Yoda
Yoda was surrendered to the shelter by his owner because they could no longer care for him and he’s been waiting for his second chance at a family life since September. Yoda is so well behaved on a leash and loves to go for car rides where he just sits and looks out the window, so calm. One of the volunteers calls Yoda her “easy walk dog” because he’s always so well behaved on a walk, doesn’t pull, will sit at corners if you ask him to and then waits for his volunteer to tell him it’s “ok” to cross the street. He loves his “cookies” and is all eyes on his volunteers who reward him with “cookies” for being a good boy. If you are looking for a dog to take for walks or just hang out at home, please consider Yoda. He’s about a year and a half old, neutered and waiting for someone to love him and give him a forever home.

Robin
Robin holds the title of the dog with the most seniority living at the shelter and we don’t know why. He has been there since April 2012. Robin is a very nice dog who will walk right by your side if you are carrying a “cookie” or he thinks you have one in your pocket and not too far from you if you don’t have a “cookie”. He will sit with all eyes on you if he thinks you have a treat for him and really remembers his people and is always happy to see his familiar volunteers. He loves to chase tennis balls and has the cutest doggie hop as he gets close to his ball. Robin is a 2-3 year old, neutered American Staffordshire Terrier mix and was found as a lost dog and no one came for him so he is waiting for his forever family to come find him and bring him home. Could you be his forever family? |

Roxie
Roxie is on the smaller size with a HUGE heart, most of the time Roxie is sitting or lying next to her human. She likes to play ball, and roll around in the grass. She is good on a leash, but does pull at times. Roxie is crate trained and knows a few commands; she needs someone to spend some time training her. Roxie plays well with other dogs. She does not bark often, only when she senses something out of the ordinary. If you are looking for a companion dog, then Roxie is a great choice. |

Lucky & Julie
Lucky and Julie are two siblings who love to chase each other and play all day. Lucky is very affectionate and will lie on your lap and cuddle all night. Julie prefers her perch on the cat post/bed, but will come up and roll over for a good belly rub every once in a while. Both are very sociable and well-adjusted. They come with their two tiered scratching post/beds, litter box, small scratching post, and toys. Both are up-to-date on their shots and spayed. |
