UPCOMING FUNDRAISERS

Get Ready For St. Petrick's Day!

Come join us for St. Petrick's Day on Sat., March 17th from 10AM to 3PM. A.F.E.W. will have a $35 "walk-in" micro-chip clinic and pets ready for adoption! Haldeman Ford & Subaru will be collecting items for the Hamilton Animal Shelter and A.F.E.W. Animal Rescue. We will be collecting dog/cat food, towels, blankets, cleaning supplies and monetary donations. In addition, we will be holding a Silent Auction with many items from local businesses. All proceeds go to help the animals, so come on out!

Sweet Maggie - URGENT

Its Sweet Maggie - The 1st word that comes to mind in regards to Maggie is what a SWEETHEART!!!! She is definitely a fan favorite with the A.F.E.W. volunteers! You cant help but love her sweet demeanor and smiley face. Maggie had a couple of weeks in a foster home over the holidays and here is what they said. She is extremely people friendly and very loving. She appreciates everything you do for her, and she is always ready with the kisses and affection. She is house broken, that is she did not have any accidents and loves to just cuddle on the sofa. Unfortunately, she has been at the kennel for quite some time now (a little over a year), and just hasnt caught her break yet, but I know she still dreams of her forever home, and she shows it by putting on her prettiest face every Saturday for adoption day. Maggie would do best as an only pet, she would like to be your one and only. So if you have some room in your heart and need a lifelong gal Maggie is your girl. She really is wonderful, and if you promise to rub her belly, she will lay in your arms like a baby. And believe it or not, she sings, she dances, and she writes poetry too!! Seeing is believing, so come check her out with A.F.E.W. every Saturday.

Lil Sass

6 month old female black and gray tiger. Playful, friendly and fearless, Lil Sass lives up to her name. She enjoys hanging around her humans and tolerates other cats and the dog very well. She will make a wonderful addition to your home.

Sparky

Sparky, born approximately 5/1/10, is a very big boy who is friendly with people and most cats. He is very loyal and active; he loves to play fetch with his toy mouse and will keep playing as long as youre willing. He is a little aggressive when he plays, so he would be best in a home with older children. Sparky is otherwise well-mannered and very smart. He is neutered and up to date on shots.

Snoopy

Snoopy is a good guy looking for a good home. He is happy and wants to be with his people. Snoop gets along well with other dogs and enjoys cuddling.

Kittens Marguerite

Beautiful little kittens ready for their new homes!

Stella

Stella loves a good tennis ball and makes a great jogging buddy. She is good with other dogs, but not cats, and loves all people. This is dog #065-11, she is currently at the Hamilton Animal Shelter. Please remember these animals may appear to be very hyper but it is due to a lack of exercise. Please give them a chance for a home and a happy life.
